Our Story

Chan J. Yang moved to the United States in 2008 for University. After her time at MSU, she attended several different schools around the world for skincare and eyebrow enhancement and was able to enhance and perfect her techniques. While she was refining her microblading skills, she also started her education and work in skincare by doing facials. She quickly found that facials didn’t seem to have the long-term results for acne, dark spots, or wrinkles that her clients were looking for, and began her journey to find long-term, effective, and affordable skincare solutions. It was easy for her to combine these two passions, as clients are often looking for help in both. Whenever she’s not working to give someone their perfect eyebrows or a glowy complexion, she’s spending time with her family and her golden retriever, Lucky.

Our Future

After deciding to stay in East Lansing, Chan founded Aphrodite’s Secret in 2014. Here, she provides skincare and brow enhancement to people both locally and online. Because Aphrodite’s Secret prides itself on offering the best options available, Chan and her team are always learning about the newest techniques and services she can offer her clients.
