Microblading Correction and Removal

What is the healing process like for microblading laser removal? 

We do laser removal, but this isn't your typical tattoo removal. Our laser removal machine is specifically designed for permanent cosmetics, which means it's gentler and more targeted for cosmetic pigments. Cosmetic pigments aren't as deep in the skin as tattoo pigments, which means that the laser doesn't have to be as intense. 

With a gentler laser, the healing process is much easier. Most of our clients don't have any blistering, scabbing, or discomfort after their laser service is finished. There is usually a little bit of redness for a few hours, but otherwise the healing time is minimal!

What is Microblading Correction or Removal?

Sometimes your old brows just aren't working for you anymore. Whether your microblading turned gray, you feel like your shape isn't what you want anymore, or you're just ready to start fresh, correction or removal might be right for you!

Correction is usually done by going over the shape and pigment with fresh, new color. Small adjustments can be made to the shape during this process to even out unbalanced brows. Color corrections can be done, but will be heavily dependent on the darkness of your existing color. If the color is very dark, blue, black, or gray, removal may be necessary before the brows can be corrected. Red or orange brows can be more easily corrected. 

How do I know whether correction or removal is best for me? 

Our brow artist will consult with you and make a recommendation for what your best option is. Usually, our artist will give you a few different options to help you achieve your goals, and you can choose what will work best for your life. We often recommend a combination of removal and correction techniques for best results. 

Recommendations may include partial removal, total removal, shape correction, and color correction. We will make a plan together to best address your concerns. 

How many sessions of removal will I need?

The number of sessions depends on a lot of different factors. Some pigments are easier to remove than others, but we won't know how your brows will react until we try. After the first session, we can give you a slightly better idea of how many sessions are remaining. Some of our clients only need 2-3, while others need 5-6. It depends on the severity of your existing brows.
